High Energy Protein Bites
Ingredients
1. 2 cups rolled oats
2. 1 cup organic peanut butter
3. 2/3 cups local honey
4. 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
5. 1/2 cup ground flax seed
6. 1/2 cup chocolate protein powder
7. 1/2 cup unsweetened shredded coconut
8. 2 Tbsp Chia seeds
9. 1 tsp coconut extract
10. 1/4 cup chopped coffee beans (optional)
11. 2 Tbsp cocoa powder
Directions:
Prep: 15min Ready: 15 min
Combine oats, peanut butter, honey, dark chocolate chips, flax seed, protein powder, coconut, chia seeds and coconut extract and mix in a large bowl. Fold in coffee beans if adding. Form mixture into 1 inch balls
Place cocoa powder in a small bowl, Roll each ball in the cocoa powder until coated.
Notes: Vanilla protein powder can replace chocolate protein powder
